Have you ever wondered where our members come from? Do you think all are from Ozark County? If so, below are some stats that may surprise you.

We now have 108 memberships, the same as last year. The following general areas are presented with memberships from those areas: (Note: "Gainesville" and "Theodosia" include the small communities within their zip codes).

Consider this--just in case you have forgotten. Again this year, food is provided in the cost of the tournament, the price is right, and the payback is most generous. The Flights make it possible for most of us to have a chance of being a winner. On top of that, our ladies have been bringing salads and desserts to compliment the deli trays that the club provides. Thanks ladies, you add an extra bonus. What a deal!!

The weather has not been too kind for the tournaments so far this year. Saturday the 17th, the TUMC Men’s tournament had a lot of beneficial rain, few complained! We did manage to get in 9 holes before the downpour hit. Our intrepid course superintendent won all three special events, almost getting a hole-in-one! ‘Way to go, Matt.

Thank You Notes

You may have noticed the new safety barrier as you approach #4 tee box. That handiwork was performed by Ron Capetty, Bob Hampton, Lynn Jones, Bob Green, and Matt. doors

Also, the new doors on cart sheds #2 and #3 were installed last month by Ron Capetty, Bob Hampton and Don Hegger. A special thanks to Ron Capetty for regularly stepping up to the plate, getting helpers and accomplishing the tasks needed. Well done!!

Proofreaders

Thanks to Rita Nichols for finding the "mistake" in the May edition of the Newsletter. There will be at least one mistake in each edition for those of you wit sharp eyes. The first person to find and report the mistake will have their name submitted to the Nominations Committee as a candidate for the Management Committee next year. Look sharply! Report quickly!

Course Surveys

We are comparing the fees charged by courses with which we are competitors, along with their staff, membership structure, overall course condition and amenities they offer. As we compile more data, it will be used in our overall evaluation of our structures. Be assured we will keep you informed of our findings and be as transparent as possible as we look toward the future of Theodosia Country Club.
