Report on Events September Festival
This event, held on Sunday September 26th, was well attended and a lot of fun. We thank Jackie Hoff and all of the committee who worked at the event, donated food, and helped to serve and clean up after the event. Thanks to Ron and Judy Hinkus for the music, and Rita Nichols for running the games. The event netted $460 for the club.
The Ozark Follies
The Ozark Follies Dinner/Show, held on Saturday October 30th, was again a sellout maximum crowd of 110 people. The show was quite funny and entertaining. Too numerous to list are the people who contributed to this popular show; organizing, performing and serving. But we want to thank all of you. We owe a special thanks to Frank Muhm and his committee, who are the organizers of the show.
Cart Path Work The volunteer concrete workers were back at it this fall, working on the cart path on #9. When you are at the course you will notice that the cart path on #9 has been lengthened by approximately 750 feet. We all appreciate and thank the volunteers, fund raisers, and contributors who help us to continue to improve our beautiful golf course.

Course Superintendent
As many of you know, Alan and Norma Mahon have decided to move back to Iowa for personal reasons. Alan has done a terrific job with our course and will be sorely missed, We all wish he and Norma the best in this move.
Matt Shockey has been hired to be our new course superintendent. Alan will work with Matt for several months to show him the ropes during the transition. We appreciate Alan’s cooperation in getting us through this transition.
Christmas Gift for Alan
As in the past several years, many members would like to contribute to a Christmas gift of appreciation for our Course Superintendent Alan Mahon. If you would like to contribute, please bring or mail your contribution to Nash & Sons Trucking

Christmas is a Time of Little Time
Christmas is a time of little time.
How we get there is a mystery.
Racing madly mall-to-mall, we climb
Into fields of sunlit harmony.
Shopping, cooking, clearing walks and yards,
Trimming house and tree while working, too;
Making phone calls, wrapping, writing cards,
As all worn out we do what we must do
So that this day of joy might joy renew.
Wishing you a joyous Holiday Season and a New Year of peace and happiness!
