Cart shed break in
Many of you know by now that we had a break in at cart sheds no. 2, 3, and 4 during November. The locks were cut and several sets of clubs were stolen. Fortunately, many of the clubs were later recovered. Shed #1 was not looted, possibly due the night light near by. To provide better theft protection in the future, the board decided on the following actions:
1. Install motion detection lights above all the cart sheds.
2. Replace all shed locks with theft resistant locks.
If you use the cart storage facility, you will need a new key for these new locks. The new keys are available, currently located in the club house in the area by the rear entry door. Or see the Pro Shop Attendant after March 1st.

Off Season Rental Carts
We have several new members who wish to rent carts for play during the off season. There are now three carts with keys in the open shed which are available on the honor system. Please don’t park in front of these carts, so the renters will have access to them. Green fees for non members are also on the honor system during the off season. Fee envelopes are by the rear door of the club house.

Off Season Players
We are pleased that so many of our members use our facility during the off season. But, please remember that we have no staff at the club during the off season. If you use the club house, you need to help police the area. There have been reports of the area by the rear door getting pretty messy. Please pick up, clean up, and help keep the area clean! Thanks.

Welcome new members
John and Gail Connot Theodosia

Thank you
Wally Plante and L. C. Stith for contributing funds to be used for more concrete cart paths. When added to the contributions of John Harlin and Norman Hannaford earlier this year, we now have sufficient funds for over 3 truck loads of concrete. The plans are to use these generous contributions to complete the section from #5 fairway to the #6 Ladies’ Tee.

Thank you to those who donated chili for the Chili Open. A good time was had by all at this very popular tournament.

Barb Chaney wishes to thank you all for the plants and the many contributions to help Stan’s medical expenses. We all hope that Stan is doing well.

New Member Recruitment The Revenue and Recreation Committee has decided to try a new program, in early 2006, for recruiting members from novice or non-golfers in the area. It is being called the Special Beginner Program. While this program is aimed primarily at prospective new members, it would also to useful to members new to golfing. It will be available to anyone who is a novice golfer, both members and non-members. If you have friends whom you think might like to learn the game, without having to commit to becoming a member of TCC, please give them a copy of the attached information page.

Christmas Gift for Matt
At Christmas time many members like to contribute to a Christmas “gift of appreciation” for our Course Superintendent. Matt Shockey has done a fine job in this his first year as our “Super”. If you would like to contribute, please bring or mail your contribution by Dec. 23rd to:
