Octoberfest
The Octoberfest was well attended on a very nice October day. The food, drinks, games and visiting made for a very entertaining fall event. For organizing and runining this special event, we owe a special thanks to:

The 2nd Ozark Follies is a big hit!
The Ozark Follies dinner and entertainment was again a great success. Another sell out crowd of over 120 people enjoyed the evening. The event raised over $850 to go toward Club House renovation.
Once again we offer a big thank you to John Harlin, master of ceremonies, and Linda Harlin, accompanist and performer. Thank you to all who performed and assisted. We owe a special thank you to the Committee who organized the event:

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, to the sponsors, and to the committee, Glenn McAndless and Jim Henderson, who organized this fund raiser. The Raffle plus donations raised approximately $1,800 to be used for the ongoing Cart Path project.

Club Championship
The Thomas brothers continue their domination of the club championship tournament. Jake Thomas won the tournament by a decisive 6 strokes, with a 138 for the 36 holes. Bob Green was second with a 144. And, Jerry Wallace was 3rd with a 151. Congratulations winners.

2 Eagles in 2 weeks.
We gave Jim Henderson a bit of a hard time about the “bell” incident last year. So, we thought we should give him some good press too. Jim made 2 eagles on #5 within a period of 2 weeks last fall. Congratulations Jim. Your “driving” certainly has improved.

Thank you for giving the clubhouse facer boards a needed second coat of paint. This chore took Sis many hours on the roof, hanging over the roof to paint in places. It looks really good.

Thank you for loaning your stump remover to the club. We all appreciate the removal of some of the old stumps left over from clearing trees.

Thank you for building the Logo Golf Ball Display which is hanging in the foyer near the back entrance to the Pro Shop.

Cart Paths
