Editor’s comment
So that means that Bill Barnes can now out drive me by about 110 yards instead of only 100 yards. But, I guess I have to give these “old guys” a break, because one of these days in the not to distant future I will officially be one of “them”.

Eagle on #1
We are told by Don Newton that he was golfing with Bill Barnes recently and that Bill made an eagle on # 1 from about 140 yards out. Those “Senior Tees” seem to really be working for Bill. There are several of us hoping that the birthdays go by really fast so we can use those “gray tees” also.

On second thought, maybe we don’t want the birthdays to go by so fast!!! Anyway, congratulations on your eagle, Bill.
