Laws concerning alcoholic beverages on the course
It is against the law for anyone to bring any drink higher than 14% alcohol content on to the Club property, and it is a violation of the Club’s liquor license. If you do so, you are not only breaking the law, but you are jeopardizing the Club’s liquor license.
It is not illegal for players to bring their own beer onto the course, but it is against Club Policy. We know this policy is frequently violated. We ask your help in correcting this situation. Beer is for sale in the Club House. If you want to take beer on the course, it may be purchased at the Club House. The prices for 6 pack quantities are quite reasonable. Ice is available for your coolers, if desired. The Club also has a small supply of soft coolers for loan during play. Please help your Club by adhering to Club Policies.
Thank you,
The Management
Leagues are in full "swing"
Starting times 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday Men’s League
Thursday Lady’s League
Friday Couple’s League
New members should be aware that these leagues are a lot of fun. Partner parings are random for Men’s and Lady’s Leagues. These are mostly social events, although the competition and winning a few dollars is fun too. You can win if you are good, or if you are lucky. For this player, only lucky works.
You do not need to worry about how good a golfer you are. Many of us who regularly attend league play are not good golfers and probably never will be. The good golfers know that they will be playing with us hackers as partners or opponents. So don’t be shy. Come on out. Join in the fun. Get to know the other members of our Club. You will be happy you did, because you won’t meet a nicer bunch of people anywhere.
