Buy a small bucket for $1and go see the nifty way Matt has improved the driving range. Matt has found a very clever way to utilize our old pin flags. He is really giving us something so shoot at. Who knows, practice could improve your game.

Improvement Projects - progress report
Front steps/porch
Ron Capetty organized a group consisting of himself, Bob Green, Don Hager, Bob Hampton, and Lynn Jones, to rebuild the club entry porch, . Bob Hampton took a load of the old boards and planed them for reuse, saving many dollars The cost of this improvement was only $370. Great job guys!
Jackie Hoff found a supply of good used decking for use in building the handicapped ramp. Thank you to John Bronakawski, Bill Allison, Warren Herchenroeder, and Matt Shockey for hauling the decking to the club. Stan Chaney has been contracted to add this ramp to the new entry porch.
Building Painting, HELP!!!
John “Bargain Hunter” Bronakawski found a good deal on paint. He is assembling a team to start the painting of the building exterior at
7:30 AM on
Wednesday the 18th.

Rear deck
“Buy a Board” jar fund
The rear (east) deck is in very bad shape. Plans are underway to totally rebuild it. There will be a special effort to raise funds for this project by placing a jar in the Pro Shop which will be the “buy a board” fund. Your help would be appreciated.
Course Rules:
It is so easy for the regular players to become lax on course rules. Part of the appeal of our country club is its relaxed atmosphere. But, we need to review the rules occasionally and try to follow them. Please be a good example for our club.
-Sign in at the Pro Shop
-Begin play on #1
-Soft spikes only
-No sleeveless shirts
-Maximum 5 players per group
-Repair ball marks on greens
-Carts:
Maximum 2 riders
Must be 16 to rent
90 degree rule
No carts on #3 fairway
Keep carts 30 feet from greens

The Revenue and Recreation Committee Planned Activities
